What is SDP?

The Self-Determination Program (SDP) provides Regional Center clients ages 3+ and their families with more freedom, control, and responsibility in choosing services and supports to help them meet objectives in their Individual Program Plan (IPP).

How much will it cost me?

Creation of Person Centered Plan (PCP) and SDP Transition Support services to get Regional Center (RC) clients started with SDP is 100% funded by their RC. Ongoing IF services are allocated from IPP authorized services in RC clients' SDP spending plans or self-pay.
What services can you fund under the SDP program?

All IPP authorized services based on Traditional Regional Center program funding AND new services such as Community Living Support Worker, Executive Function Coach, Independent Facilitator and Parent Coaching, SDP Mentorship.
